We are just two people in love with each other, the people around us, the food in our bellies, that which makes the sun shine in our spirits and the light twinkle in our eyes.. Truthfully... why not start a Blog journey within a journey. Why not acknowledge our differences at the same time as embracing that which connects us. Maybe this brings us to the journey that this blog might take us on - I am a girl and you are a boy. We eat chocolate and hamburgers between our bites of organic Swiss chard and lentils. A cup of Holy Basil tea amongst organic coffee with sugar laden baileys. We take a Tylenol because our head pounds, and homeopathic Oscillococcinum instead of the flu vaccine. One spends a moment in a proud pigeon and the other takes five on the mat, but we will still breathe in unison and hug each other for our efforts. My serene lake is surrounded by mountains, and yours by poplars but we both marvel at the call of the loon, the silence of the white tailed deer and moment when the sun is just about to set and the water moves only by the ripple of our paddles.
So really... as I sit here writing this first entry for the both of us, I think that it is safe to say that neither of us have any idea what we are doing and even less of an idea if this will be of any interest to anyone other than ourselves. All we know is that we have things to talk about. I have a passion for holistic nutrition, the inner spirit and strength, the outdoors and truly miss the creative release that writing brings to me. John... well John is a really intelligent and emotionally tuned in guy that in addition to having something to add to any random thought that I throw out there, is also in love with the outdoors and joins me in a passion for the spirit and all things that could make this world a better place. So about this journey that one may call healthy, the other spiritual and one just plain simple.. we have chosen to call it "Sprouting Thoughts".. because a sprout is just the beginning.. need I say more.
